Now that you have reached the Summitt... let’s see who’s home.

Mark

The “master” Summitt Dweller enjoys geocaching, camping, amateur landscaping, woodworking and building web sites like this one.  Since December 2002 emphasis has been on getting the family 5th wheel on the road and keeping it there as much as possible. At other times he’s active as a Cub Scout leader and on the local recreation trail project.

Mark has a Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and formerly worked for Black & Veatch and BV Solutions Group, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. He’s now an EDS (Electronic Data Systems) employee but still a telecommuter and IT developer for B&V.

Christine

The real “master” Summitt Dweller (and everybody knows it... especially her) enjoys quilting in her spare time (which she currently has none of).  When she’s not quilting she’s chasing the not-so-little folk that inhabit the Summitt. And when she’s not chasing (or cleaning up after them) she plinks at the piano or vocalizes (soprano) preparing music lesson plans for her students in the Belle Plaine Community School District, for an upcoming Wieting Theatre performance or for speech contest students at STC.

Christine has a degree in Music Education from Kansas State University. She started teaching music (again) in October 2001 and is pursuing her Master’s Degree at the University of Northern Iowa.

Morgan

Morgan enjoys reading and school but seems to have little time for either. Probably because she’s a varsity cheerleader, varsity soccer player, plays flute in marching band and concert band, plays electric guitar in jazz band and pep band, is active in Thespian Club, large group and individual speech, takes dance and guitar lessons, is active with church youth, and works summers at the aquatic center.  Oh, and her room is always a mess.

Morgan is a student... and a pretty good one (even in math!) at that.

Mackenzie

Mackenzie also has a messy room...maybe worse than Morgan’s.  She likes lots of things including dance, playing with her friends, school dances learning piano and percussion in band, playing and working on the computer, golf, soccer and swimming.

Mackenzie is a student... real honor-roll material and loving it.

Ian

Ian is the little guy who always smiles... except when his Mom or Dad (or sisters) have to tell him “NO”.  That usually happens whenever he’s tired and in need of a nap... boy does he get cranky! Ian loves anything that he can ride on or pretend to drive... especially the mower (any mower). We’re going to have to keep a close eye on this guy!

Ian is the master mess-maker (and tormentor of sisters). Outdoors he likes playing with friends, Cub Scouts, camping, soccer, t-ball and golf. He’s also a student but we’re not quite sure if that’s good or bad yet.
